Football: JMS 7th graders close out the season with pair of shutout wins

7th”A”: JMS 44, Moore 0 — Reggi Sirls amassed four touchdowns and Michael Taylor scored one to guide JMS to the winner's circle. Brady McCown quarterbacked the Braves. JMS ends the year with a 3-3 record.


7th “B”: JMS46, Moore 0 — The Braves manhandled Moore behind a four-touchdown night by Dezarrick Sessions. Jayden Martin and Jayden Polk also visited the end zone for the winners. The JMS defense didn't allow Moore to make a first down all night. Jordan Dorsey and Sessions where the defensive standouts.


8th “A”: Moore 29, JMS 28 — Despite the heartbreaking loss, there were plenty of bright spots for the Braves. Jayden Boyd, Karmelo Clayborne and Jermaine Taylor scored touchdowns for the Braves. The Braves were called for a penalty on what would have been a successful 2-point conversion by Clayborne that took place with just under :40 to play in the contest.The 8th “A” unit ends up with a 4-3 worksheet, with two losses being by a single point and the other by just six points.


8th “B”: JMS 34, Moore 18 — Coen Devillier and William Alexander threw touchdown passes in the game for JMS. Noah Hill and Boston Beasley were on the receiving end of the scoring strikes.
