Henslee wins for 10th time this summer at Eagle's Bluff tour stop

BULLARD — Katelyn Henslee, a 12-year old from Rusk, chalked up her 10th win of the summer on Monday when she won the Girls 11-12 division of the Northern Texas PGA tour stop at Eagle's Bluff near Bullard.

Henslee carded a 107 and defeated Rosalie Halle of Tyler by one stroke.

In the Boys 15-18 grouping Harrison Hopson of Bullard finished tied for second place after shooting a 78.

Tyler's Reed Gesse shot a 76 to capture first place.

A pair of locals finished in the top five in the Boys 13-14 division.

Noah Nichols of Bullard ended up in second place, firing an 83, while Grady Ault of Jacksonville carded a 96 to finish in fifth place.

Coming in at 82 put Will Gillen of Tyler in first place.

Troup's Jaxson Green shot a 102 to take third place in the Boys 11-12 segment. Lucas Latimar out of Rockwall shot a 79 to win first place.

Two Flint youngsters won first place in their respective divisions in the East Prep tournament (9 holes).

Sheridan Dodd shot a 54 to win the Girls 11-12 division by five strokes and Luke Alexander carded a 58 to win the Boys 11-12 grouping.
