BULLARD — Jacksonville, Bullard and Brook Hill will open 7-on-7 league tonight beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Panther Stadium on the Bullard High School campus.
Action will rotate between Panther Stadium and Brook Hill's Herrington Stadium, two facilities that feature artificial turf.
The teams will take next Monday off in observance of Memorial Day, but will meet on Tuesday evening, again at Bullard High.
On June 1, 8 and 15 Brook Hill will be the host.
The league is scheduled to wrap on June 22, with games to be played at Panther Stadium.
The 7-on-7 play will give Jacksonville's new head football coach, Wayne Coleman, his first opportunity to see some of his Indians compete against an opponent.
Bullard and Brook Hill both have key holes to fill due to graduation losses, with each club losing its starting quarterback from a year ago.
