Jaguars maul Mondello College, 94-70

The Jacksonville College Jaguars ran their record to 5-2 by whipping Mondello College, 94-70, on Friday at the Curtis Carroll Fieldhouse.

The Dons are based in Dallas.

A fast start — JC led 50-33 at intermission — fueled the Jag win.

Braxton Lovings came in off the bench to score a team-best 18 points. Lovings drained 3-6 from beyond the arc.

Dancell Lester added another double-double to his resume by tossing in 12 points and amassing 15 rebounds.

Nicholas Gazelas chipped in 17 for JC while Mohamad Kraidly added 13 points and six assists.

JC shot 38-73 (52.1-percent) from the field.

The Jags are slated to host Strength'N Motion at 7 p.m. Monday evening.
