TYLER — The fall campaign for the Jacksonville College linksters came to a close on Tuesday at the Pine Springs Golf Club in Tyler where the Jaguars and Lady Jaguars took part in the Tyler Junior College Fall Invitational.
The JC men, who were in last place in the team standings after Day 1, did not earn a final team score as one player was not able to complete his round on Tuesday.
Low man honors for the Jags went to Noah Vasquez of Ennis, who recorded identical rounds of 81 to end up at 162, which left him tied for 44th place.
Coming in tied for 49th was Nate Donohoe (84-85 — 159) with Jonathan Gothard (87-93 —170) placing 51st.
Matthew LeWallen shot an 80 in the first round, but was not able to complete Tuesday's final round.
TJC's Parker McCurdy, a freshman from Liberty Hill, finished at 3-under 141 to win medalist honors in the men's division.
McLennan captured the team title, checking in at 15-under 561 (277-284).
JC was represented by a trio of ladies, with Vanessa Agis (93-89—182) leading the Lady Jags.
Lauren Freeman (90-98 — 188) and Kailey Baldree (99-100 — 199) rounded out things for JC.
TJC sophomore Odette Booysen from South Africa carded rounds of 75 and 80 to win medalist accolades.
The Apache Ladies (313-326 — 639) finished 12 strokes in front of Houston-Victoria to win the team title.
