LONGVIEW — Jacksonville College took its lumps when it took on LeTourneau (NCAA, Division III) University Saturday afternoon in Longview.

The Jaguars were tripped up, 6-3, by the Yellowjackets, with the LeTourneau ladies edging the Lady Jags, 4-3.

In the men's competition, JC's points came in No. 1 doubles where Anrue Fourie and Jimmy McCormick defeated Beggs and Weaver 8-6.

In No. 1 singles Fourie ran his record to 10-1 on the year by clipping Beggs 6-4, 6-4.

Nathan Behrans knocked off the Yellowjackets' G. Taylor 6-1, 6-4 in No. 6 singles play.

JC captured the No.1 doubles match on the women's side as well when Kara Chitty and Lenka Styblova team up to stop Hunter and Morisseau 8-3.

Styblova humbled Hunter 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles match.

The Lady Jags' final point came in No. 2 singles where Chitty upended Morisseau 6-4, 6-2.
