Jacksonville's girls turned in a near-perfect performance Tuesday as the Tribe netters took on Wills Point on the Tigers' home courts.

The Tribe girls (Ellie Day, Kristie Savage, Samantha Lee, Lorena Mireles, Lexie Stickle and Shyia Magan) won all of their singles matches, with Lee & Mireles and Magan & Stickle teaming up to garner points for Jacksonville in girls doubles play as well.

Jacksonville's' remaining point came in No. 2 boys singles where Bryan De La Rosa defeated Williams of Wills Point 6-4, 7-5.

De La Rosa and Dylan Perry nearly took the point in No. 2 boys doubles where they fell to Daniell & Rankin, 6-8.

Tribe tennis will be at home Saturday (8:30 a.m.) for the Jacksonville Quad.

At 4:00 p.m. Tuesday the team will open the District 16-4A campaign by entertaining John Tyler.

Jacksonville is 1-2-1 on the year.
