Johnson catches 6 passes for Tulsa in win over Wyoming


TULSA, Okla. — Keenen Johnson a 6'-1”, 200-pound wide out at the University of Tulsa, caught seven passes for 95 yards on Saturday when the Golden Hurricanes outlasted Wyoming, 24-21, at Chapman Stadium.

The product of Alto High School is a senior.

Tulsa evened its slate at 2-2 with the win. The Golden Hurricanes also have a win over San Jose State this season, with losses coming to Michigan State and Oklahoma State.

For the season Johnson has hauled in 13 passes for 165 yards (12.7 yards per catch).

Tulsa has an open date this week and is scheduled to open American Athletic Conference play at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 when a visit to SMU is on tap.
