Jacksonville Fightin' Indian supporters will have an opportunity to meet and greet the Tribe's new athletic director and head football coach, Wayne Coleman, later this week.
Between 5-6 p.m Friday evening the general public may stop by the Jacksonville High School Fieldhouse and welcome Coleman to town.
Coleman begin working in his new capacity earlier this month after serving as an assistant coach at Gilmer High School for the last eight seasons.
He brings 26 years of high school coaching experience to Jacksonville, including having served as a head coach at several schools earlier in his career.
In addition, Coleman worked as offensive coordinator at Jacksonville from 1991-96, serving under head coach Danny Long.
It is also anticipated that some of Coleman's newly-hired assistant coaches will also be on hand to meet the public.
