Scooter Baker gets his chance to shine at Southeastern Okla.

DURANT, Okla. — Scooter Baker, a red shirt freshman and product of Jacksonville High School, is making the most of a recent opportunity as a linebacker at Southeastern Oklahoma (NCAA, Division II, Great American Conference).

Baker (6'-1”, 205 lbs.) has ascended up the Savage Storm depth chart due to injuries and has performed well.

Last week Baker made four solo tackles and five assisted tackles, in addition to coming up with a quarterback hurry, in the Savage Storm's 38-20 loss to Arkansas Tech. Baker finished with the second most tackles on the team last week.

Southeastern Oklahoma will entertain Harding, Ark. At 2 p.m. Saturday.

Baker is the son of Samuel and D'onnettera Baker.
