Troup chalks up a road win over Carlisle, 33-23

TROUP TIGER FOOTBALL

PRICE — Two teams that combined to score just 10 points total last week didn't have any trouble lighting the scoreboard at Arrowhead Stadium in Price on Friday night.

The visiting Troup Tigers came away with their first win of the year by posting a 33-23 decision over Price-Carlisle, who now sits at 0-2.

The win allowed the Tigers to avenge a 35-28 loss to the Indians in a game that was played in Troup last season.

The Tigers return home on Friday, Sept. 13 to host Elkhart. Kick off is scheduled for 7:30 and it will also be the Tigers' homecoming game.
