After winning their first two district games, the Trinidad Trojans traveled to rival Oakwood for a showdown to determine the district champion.

Oakwood's defense held the Trojan offense in check to 28 points as the Panther offense kept going and put up 73 points in their 73-28 win over Trinidad.

Romal Womack and Brayden Dickey combined for nine passes on 25 attempts for 65 yards and three touchdowns.

Womack and Hampton combined for 359 rushing yards on 38 carries for two touchdowns.

Receiving, Hunter Robinson and Cam Brookins both recorded a touchdown as the offense put up a total of 424 yards.

On defense, Dickey and Womack both had double-digit tackles with 12 and 11 respectively.

The Trojans finish the regular season at 4-6 and 2-1 in district. They play Calvert in the bi-district round this Friday in‚ÄąPenelope.
